Prometric Nurse Prep ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Prometric Nurse Prep mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

• Account information: If you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and authentication credentials (managed via Firebase Authentication). You may also sign in with Google.
• Study data: Quiz scores, answered questions, bookmarks, streaks, exam date, daily goals, and other study progress stored locally on your device and synced to our servers when you are signed in.
• Subscription data: Purchase and subscription status verified through Google Play Billing. We do not store your payment card details.
• Device and usage data: App version, device type, crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics), and general usage patterns to improve stability and performance.
• Advertising data: If you use the free tier, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data to serve ads. See Google's privacy policy for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features
• Sync your study progress across devices when signed in
• Verify and manage Premium subscriptions
• Send study reminders and streak notifications (if enabled)
• Diagnose crashes and improve app performance
• Respond to support requests and bug reports
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication, cloud database, and crash reporting
• Google Play Billing: In-app purchases and subscriptions
• Google AdMob: Advertising in the free tier
• Google Sign-In: Optional account authentication

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Google Firebase. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and study data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the App settings, or request deletion via our Delete Account page. Upon deletion, we remove your account and associated personal data from our active systems promptly; backup deletion completes within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for billing / fraud prevention as described on the Delete Account page.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Account deletion: Use "Delete my account" in App settings, or follow the steps at https://dhanurseprep.com/delete-account to permanently remove your account and associated data.
• Notifications: Disable study reminders and streak alerts in App settings or your device notification settings.
• Advertising: Premium subscribers do not see ads. Free users can limit ad personalization through their device advertising settings.
• Guest mode: You may use the App without creating an account; progress is stored locally only.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adult nursing professionals preparing for licensure exams. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. International Users

The App is designed for nursing professionals across the Gulf region. Your data may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
